The service

LaunchSure provides security and readiness checks for applications and, where an app passes, issues a verifiable credential (a “badge”) recording that result.

What a badge means

A badge certifies that an app passed our published checks on its issue date. It is a point-in-time review against our published standard — not a warranty, insurance, or a guarantee that the app is free of all vulnerabilities. See our Standards & disclosure page for the full statement.

Your responsibilities

• Provide accurate information and only connect repositories you are authorised to share.
• Do not misrepresent the tier, scope, or validity date of a credential.
• Do not display a badge after it has expired or been revoked.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, LaunchSure is not liable for losses arising from vulnerabilities not identified during a check, or from changes made to an app after its issue date.
